Tanzania, tangu mwaka 2011, mradi ulianzishwa unaotazama kumbukumbu ya kihistoria ya Tanzania kuhusiana na Urithi wa Ukombozi wa Mwafrika. Tasisi husika za umma Tanzania zinajitahidi kulinda na kuhifadhi urithi huo kwa ajili ya kizazi cha sasa na kijacho kupitia ufadhili wa UNESCO pamoja na Jumuiya ya Ulaya. Kuna umuhimu mkubwa wa kuruhusu kumbukumbu za uhai wa Nyaraka za Sauti kusikika kupitia nchi husika. Warsha ya kwanza ilifanyika mwaka 2014, TBC, Dar es Salaam. Baada ya miaka mitatu, kabla ya mradi kuisha, warsha nyingine ilifanyika (yakifuatiwa na maonesho). Warsha hiyo ilitoa fursa ya kufunzwa utaalamu wa kidijitali na namna ya kuorodhesha taarifa za nyaraka za sauti. Reviving the sound archives of Tanzania
In Tanzania, since 2011, a project is raising to highlight Tanzania’s historical memory relating to the African Liberation Heritage. To safeguard and ensure the preservation of endangered public archives in Tanzania, most institutions are promoting its heritage for present and future generations sustained by the UNESCO and European Community.

Heritage Archives of Tanzania : la phonothèque de la MMSH à Dar-es-Salaam
La phonothèque de la MMSH participe au programme européen soutenu par l’UNESCO “Safeguarding, Preservation and Promotion of the Heritage Archives of Tanzania: the African Liberation Heritage Archives”. Dans ce cadre, une formation à la collecte, l’archivage et la valorisation des archives sonores aura lieu à Dar-es-Salaam du 25 août au 5 septembre 2014.
